Jewelry Care

Our gold plated metal is made by electroplating a thin coating of gold over and base metal. This process adds a high shine gold finish but it doesn't last as long as solid gold or silver. Therefore, it’s important to take care of your pieces to prevent fading.

Plated metals are best cleaned with warm soapy water (dish soap is recommended). Do not use any harsh chemical cleansers or abrasive cleansers on your plated jewelry as these cleansers may cause the plating to chip or wear off.
Rinse fully after cleaning & dry completely before wearing or storing.  Plated metals can retain their shine for longer when kept in a sealed plastic bag when not in use.  Also never soak your plated jewelry because this may weaken the electroplating finish.
